June 23rd is International Women in Engineering Day (INWED). On this day we celebrate the remarkable achievements of women engineers everywhere and bring awareness to the engineering field as a rewarding career choice for women.
Launched in 2014 by the Women’s Engineering Society in the UK, INWED has since grown to reach an international audience with interest in promoting diversity and equality in the workplace and empowering women and girls to pursue a career in the engineering sector.
McCrone is proud to be a supporter of International Women in Engineering Day. We celebrate the accomplishments of our own women in engineering and how they shape the world in which we live.
