Land Planning

Land Planning

Land Planning is the methodical approach to creating conducive environments for the sustainable development of land resources. Our land planners are multi-disciplinary professionals drawing upon expertise in the planning, landscape design, and engineering fields. They employ a variety of methods to take advantage of a site’s opportunities and constraints. These methods include both the local and regional site analysis of physical, environmental, socioeconomic, institutional, and legal implications. Our land planners are involved in the project from the onset – taking part in citizen’s forums, public hearings, and Design Charrettes – actively participating in the entire process. Ideally, the result is a plan which enhances a site’s natural features while maintaining the existing ecological balance, and obtaining the density requirements of the owner/developer.
