McCrone was proud to serve as Engineer of Record for the new North East Middle & High School campus located on Irishtown Road in North East, Maryland. Developed in partnership with Cecil County Public Schools, this project supports the region’s growing student population and provides modern educational facilities for the community.

Our team delivered comprehensive civil engineering design and permitting services, including site layout and grading, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, water and sanitary sewer design, roadway coordination, and utility infrastructure planning.

The site’s varied topography required careful grading strategies to balance earthwork while maintaining accessibility and safe circulation for vehicles and pedestrians. McCrone also designed a complete stormwater management system that meets Maryland Department of the Environment and local regulatory standards, helping protect surrounding waterways while supporting the campus’s long-term sustainability.
